Magic Valley Speedway  - The Intermountain Outlaw Modified Tour rolled into Magic Valley Speedway for round one of their annual tour.  The #56 driven by Rosalee Wheeler, lead the field to the green flag but would have a horrible start to the season, when on the second lap, she left her transmission on the race track going into turn three. Rick Fowbel, driver of the #98 Modified took the lead and after a hard fought battle relinquished the lead to Fast Qualifier, the #20 driven by Jentry Pisca.  They would come across to the checker with Pisca getting the first win of the 2015 season, Fowbel had to settle for second and the driver of the # 4 Modified, Abe Carter rounded out the top three.

Reigning Champion, #7 Kris Mckean, picked up where he left off last year, winning Saturday night Idaho Army National Guard's Late Model feature event. Kris quickly moved up to  2nd place and patiently waited his turn, as he followed the #60 of Doyal Moen. Moen's car started to fade by lap10 where Mckean made his move under Moen to take the lead and never look back. The #23 Steve Edens, last week's winner, had a good car early but by lap18, started to get very loose in the corners. The  #22 Jerry McKean, caught and passed Edens, and set his sights on Moen, who was in second. A couple of yellows bunched the field back up but Jerry McKean could not get by Moen and brought home a 3rd to hold on to his point lead. The #8 of Willie Dalton and the #23 of Steve Edens, rounded out the top five.

The Brennan’s Carpet Super Stocks driver of the  #27, "The Young Gun" Russel Dalton and the #3 driven by Brad Abbott, sliced and diced through the field to finish first and second, respectively.

The Project Filter Street Stocks had a couple of rough Heat races but settled down for a great 25 lap Main event. The #88 of Candy Fredrickson, lead the first 6 laps before the #62 John Hankel, took the lead for his 1st Main event of the 2015 season. The #13 of Brenner Gill, and #15 of Roy Boots, followed Hankel through the pack, to finish 2nd and 3rd,  respectively.

It was the "Back Flip Kid" driver of the #29 Trenton Thomas, in the IHOP Hornets, who easily drove to this week's MiddleKauff Ford Auto Mall Winners Circle. The #15 of Roy Boots, finished in 2nd but had his hands full, as he held off last week's Main Event winner, the #22 driven by Jeremia Eden, who would have to settle for a 3rd place finish this Saturday.  The #20 of KC Sutton, a Quale’s Electronics Jr. Stinger graduate, came in 4th place with the # 01 driver Travis Abbott rounded out the top five.

The Quale’s Electronics Jr. Stinger, Samantha Shindle driver of the #15 racecar got by Rookie Driver Jodey Moen, driver of the #88 racecar, to win her first Feature Event, of this season. Last week's Stinger, first time winner, Jane Sutton in the #10, had another strong run, coming in 2nd and Jodey Moen held on to finish third.
