Magic Valley Speedway

Battling  for the 2015 Championships

Magic Valley Speedway and Watkins Distributing presented a great night of racing action and a great night of championship battles.  With another great crowd on hand and the fall chill in the air after the sun went down, things heated up on the track.

Brennan's Carpet Super Stock driver Hailey Douglas in the #54 racecar barrel rolled down the front stretch during the heat race and was unable to start the main event; she would be physically alright but the crew wasn't sure about the racecar.  Russell Dalton in the #27 would start the main event in the back and charge his way to the win.  Brad Abbot in the # 3 would come home in the runner up position and Mike Gill in the #13 would round out the top three.

Project Filter Street Stocks would tighten up the season point standing with Roy Boots in the # 15; currently in the #1 seasons point standing,  and John Hankel in the #62; currently in the #2 season points standings, would finish in the second and third positions, respectively and Trenton Thomas in the #29 would hold off both seasoned racers to take home the trophy.

O'Reilly's Auto Parts Thunder Dogs would have the driver of the #66 Brenner Gill taking the checkered and driver of the #6 racecar Russell Dalton would finish in the second position. Travis Adams driving the #01 Thunder Dog would round out the top three.  This coming weekend we will crown a champion in this class and the points are tight...should be a great race.

IHOP Hornets points leader Trenton Thomas in the #29 would find himself in a familiar place at the end of the race, the winner circle. Jeremia Eden in the #22 would have to settle for a second place finish and Travis Adams driving the #01 would round out the top three.

Quale's Electronics Jr. Stingers had a new comer Andrew Prince in the #14 make it to the winner circle this past Saturday night.  Points leader Jody Moen in the #88 would have to settle for third and Donavan Pierson  in the # 99 would finish second.  This coming weekend we will also be crowning a champion in the class and again the points are tight.

This coming weekend Marky's Super Tow will present another great night of racing and a couple of championships.  Due to schedule conflicts, we will  have the Outlaw Modifidy's, the O'Reilly's Thunder Dogs and the second half of the Quale's Electronics Jr. Stingers champions being crowned.  We will also have the Army National Guard Late Models, the Brennan's Carpet Super Stocks and the Double Decker's on hand to create another great night of racing.  We hope to see you at the Races!!!
