Race fans crowded the Magic Valley Speedway grandstands on Saturday, May 4, as Pepsi Ladies Night took over the third-mile high-banked oval. The Western Mountain Inc. NASCAR Latemodels, NASCAR Trucks, McDonald’s Street Stocks, Project Filter Mini Modifieds, Budweiser Bombers, and Hornets all took to the track in pursuit of the night’s Highline Powersports trophies.

Andrew Palmer and Dan Root, Jr traded wins in the Western Mountain Inc. NASCAR Latemodel ranks Saturday night. Palmer piloted his Bobby’s Transmission entry to the Highline Powersports trophy in the night’s first feature, with Root, Jr bring his DT Root Motorsports, JH Hillock Electric mount home first in the division’s second feature.

Pepsi Ladies Night was good for NASCAR Truck racer Jenna Quale, who picked up the division’s first feature win in her Quale’s Electronics, Custom Auto Repair machine. Andrew Prince raced his Picabo Angler, Bad Fast Engineering truck to victory in the night’s second feature.

Palmer also ran away with the night’s McDonald’s Street Stock feature. Mitch Pehrson brought his Idaho Powder Coat, Praxair machine home second with Jeff Peck in third.

Amanda Burlingame outlasted Zach Rydalch to win the season’s first Project Filter Mini Modified feature.

Corbin Black bested fellow Budweiser Bomber competitors Mike Parton, Brandon Adams, and Tyla Adams to win his second division feature of the season.

Justin Ford outran the rest of the Magic Valley Speedway Hornet field to win the division’s first feature of the year.

The Magic Valley Speedway season continues Saturday, May 18, with the Outhouse Grand Prix, featuring the Western Mountain Inc. NASCAR Latemodels, Speed Tour Modifieds powered by Pit Stop USA, McDonald’s Street Stocks, Hornets, Budweiser Bombers, and Quale’s Electronics Stingers as they race for the night’s J&L Machine trophies. General admission is just $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and military members, $8 for kids 7-11, and free for kids 6 and under.
