Title Fights Set for Championship Saturday
Magic Valley Speedway wraps the thrilling 2025 season this Saturday, September 27, with the 2025 Magic Valley Speedway Championship Finale. The Speed Tour Modifieds, NASCAR Trucks, Western Mountain Inc. NASCAR Latemodels, McDonald’s Street Stocks, Budweiser Thunderdogs, and Fast Lane Automotive Hornets come together to chase the season’s final Willow Real Estate Group trophies.
Saturday night’s Speed Tour Modified feature sees Donovan Barr take an extended victory lap. Barr clinched the division championship as part of August’s Stinker Skunk Cup event and now looks to add an exclamation point to his championship run.
Jesse James Lawson, Neil Boyle, and Jeff Wade find themselves in a three-way rumble for the NASCAR Truck title. Lawson leads Boyle by an even twenty points and Wade by 26 markers, which leaves both racers withing striking distance of the point leader.
The McDonald’s Street Stocks have an even closer battle atop the standings. Entering Saturday night’s action Zaine Newberry holds a full two point lead over defending division champ Ronn McClimans. Will Newberry be able to close out his first division championship, or will McClimans find that little bit extra when it counts most?
The Western Mountain Inc. NASCAR Latemodel title picture is somewhat clearer, with Shawn Lester leading Peyton Hardenbrook by 128 markers. Scott Gilligan, Daniel Johnson, and Doyal Moen all have a chance to take third place in the division.
The Enforcer leads the Budweiser Thunderdogs into the 2025 MVS Championship Finale. Knight Rider sits 66 points back from The Enforcer while third place Project Freedom trails by 219 markers.
Alex Fitterman finds himself atop the Fast Lane Automotive Hornet division. Fitterman leads Kaethyn Gilligan by 225 markers and Jacobi Todd by 258.
General admission to the 2025 MVS Championship Finale is just $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and military members, $8 for kids 7-11, and free for those 6 and under.
